Food

Food solves
everything

Vegetarian, mostly Mumbai, always paid for. If a plate looks unflattering here, that's because it looked like that.

House rules

  1. 01

    Unedited and unfiltered

Shot on a phone at the table, in whatever light the place has. No colour grading, no staging, no borrowed props. What you see is what arrived.

  2. 02

    Pure vegetarian

Everything reviewed here is food I'd eat. That narrows the map and sharpens it — I'm not ranking a city's biryani, I'm finding the places that take the vegetarian half of the menu seriously.

  3. 03

    No reservations, no comps

I walk in like anyone else and I pay the bill. Nobody knows I'm coming, so nothing gets plated differently.

Three empty frames
Pick three places you'd actually send a friend to and fill these first. An empty grid of nine looks abandoned; a full grid of three looks deliberate. Instructions are in the HTML comment above.
